Yoga and Health

According to the World Health Organisation (google search 31/08/20), Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. My experience of practising Yoga for much of my life gives me confidence in saying that Yoga is a Holistic system for creating and sustaining Balance and Harmony on all levels of our being. Current evidence based research shows that a regular practice of yoga can help to improve sleep Quality and reduce Stress. Furthermore that yoga can help build Resilience and improve Physical Health.

I have a few spaces still available on the upcoming course:

Yoga4Health: Wednesdays from 9th Sept 7.15pm – 9.00pm, a 10 week programme created by Yoga in Healthcare Alliance as a Social prescribing method http://www.yogainhealthcarealliance. This is an on-line course which runs over 10 consecutive weeks. Within this time together we shall explore many of the wonderful tools of Yoga and how we might use these to sustain and build our own state of Health.

You might be a complete beginner to Yoga, or you may be very experienced; this is an inclusive course and offers gifts for each one of us. An open mind, a willingness to be curious and to take this journey together is all that is required.

I am offering a discount for you to access all of this, which includes weekly teaching via zoom, and access to a manual and videos to support you in developing a Home practice.
